Aluminium Axle, 2 Speed Rear Hub

Replacement axle for Bromptons 2 Speed Rear Hub in 7075 T6 aluminium, saving 45 grams over the original.

This product don't make your Brompton look better, so it is only for the real weight weenies out there, who want to save some extra grams.

I have made a small video to show how to replace the original rear axle with Brompfications Aluminium Rear Axle. As you can see on the video, I'm using a nylon spacer when mounting the bearing. You can make your own spacer out of a piece of wood or whatever you have at hand, just make sure that it is big enough to rest on the hub housing and have a 10 mm hole.
